Why is it that unless you have something you’re desperately rushing to finish up before quittin’ time, the last hour in the work day drags on into infinity?
Probably because I’m hungry and I have other projects at home I’d rather be taking care of. Like mending and adjusting clothing or reading my book. Anything but staring at my computer trying to look deeply engrossed in an activity of a work-related nature.
So, Jason Bourne made me want to hork. Well, more specifically, the cinematography in the Bourne Supremacy made me want to hork. I’ve never gotten motion sick from a non-movie object before. Aside from the need to varmint, it was a decent movie. Though, the varminty bits really took away from the actual plot.
In other movies I watched this weekend . . . Cold Creek Manor was predictable and lame, Drop Dead Gorgeous was all right, nothing fantastic, but enough brain candy to keep you mildly stimulated, Fantasia 2000 was cool, I just wish it were longer and that they hadn’t included “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. There are better pieces from the previous installment that they could have included. The Crocodile and Hippopotamus ballet for example, way better than lame old Mickey Mouse misbehaving.
Movies I saw last week . . . The Butterfly Effect, the lameness, she knows no bounds. Woe be unto you. Whosoever shall rent this movie shall be smote with a horrible movie that they shall know they have paid way too much money for.
In other news, I fucking hate my theater group because they’re a bunch of inconsistent pains in my ass. I hope they all die.
Finally, the house is nearing completion. We went out to reselect our flooring due to a managerial building kerfuffle. I think I like these colors better than our previous choices. They should be finishing up the trim this week and painting the interior next week. A week after that, I believe they’re installing our flooring. Currently, I also believe they’re working on our siding. It’s been speculated that we’re 30 to 45 days away from completion. Which would be really nice. Not that living with my sister is horrible, cause it’s not. I just want to be in my own space. Like, yesterday.
