Okay, so there you go. Me with the posting. Doing good.
I finally had a weekend that felt two days long. In fact, I kept eyeing the clock yesterday expecting the day to be moving faster. I didn’t accomplish all that much due to general laziness and an allergy attack Sunday.
Wampa and I did go see Finding Nemo Saturday morning. I know this will make me an outcast among my peers, but I just didn’t like it. It was too depressing for me, and Dory kept getting on my nerves as did Marlin’s need to control everything, which I know is central to the plot. Not the cousin for me.
Work has been horrible lately. I’ve been editing a book for one of the higher ups. Now, one would think that if you’re going to write an informative non-fiction book, you actually learn to write using the English language and at least some of its grammatic rules and guidelines. Maybe that’s not for everyone, and clearly not for this individual. Its not a long book, more of a handy workbook, really, but I don’t think there was a single paragraph that didn’t need some sort of note on it. I had to restrain myself from writing; “You suck! Who’s paying you for this Piece De Crap?” because, should I have written that, I would have no job. And I need a job to pay for my massive (and recently developed) NewThings habit.
Dude, when the heck is lunch, already? Why does it take forty-five million years to get to lunch, and even longer for Quittin’ Time to roll around, but 8:00 am always rushes up at me doing well over the speed limit? Punk ass bitch. I spit my gypsy curse at you, ptuh!
Not much else happened this weekend. I may actually start working on the dragon piece I’ve had sitting on my desk for, Gawd, more than a month now. Yeah, I’ve put away my girly supply crap and will be returning to crocheting and oils. I think I’m just burned out on soap making, right now. Maybe that will remedy itself soon.
I think that may be it, until something interesting happens to me. Then again, you may not hear from me for quite awhile, due just to that.
