Taking a cue from one of my favorite blogs, here’s my list of Weird Facts of Me:

- I’ve always hated the show Seinfeld. Its never been funny. Ever.
- I’m scared of needles. No, wait. Let me amend that, I have a needle phobia. To the degree that I’ve told Wampa that should I ever been involved in any sort of life threatening accident, I will instruct the paramedics assigned to scraping me off the sidewalk that if they even try to prick me, I will kick them in the head. Yes, this means I would rather die that have any sort of needle put into my body. Seriously.
- I often confuse dissimilar items because the names of the items are similar when written down. For example, “nosferatu” and “la cosa nostra”. The first is a vampire, the second organized crime. I get them confused because of the “nos”.
- Kind of a second example of the above, for the longest time I thought the basal ganglia was the part of your brain in charge of determining your love of Italian food. I’d never seen the term spelled out before.
- After reading a Tony Robbins book forced upon me by a “friend”, I’ve trained my mind to replace the word “lazy” with the word “motivated” when describing myself. This only works when I describe or think about myself and does not apply to anyone else.
- No matter how much I sleep, I’m always tired.
- I drive with two feet because I taught myself how to drive. Later I learned that race car drivers apparently drive with two feet as well. I’m sure, for them, its because they are driving stick. But I can still get off the line faster than anyone I know.
- I enjoy the band, Cake, and am listening to them now. Although I love them, their latest offering, Comfort Eagle, left me cold. I also think their song Daria was secretly written about me.
- I won’t watch a movie if I’ve heard rave reviews from a lot of people. For example, Moulin Rouge and Chicago. I think I do this because I’m trying to be rebellious and all “Fight the Power”, but I have a feelings its just me being contrary.
- The Magic Kingdom is my favorite of all the Disney kingdoms.
