April 24, 2003 - 3:50 p.m.
Man, I can’t wait for April to be over. For the record, April sucks donkey balls. In the past month the following has taken place:
- Wampa had a nervous breakdown
- We had an unexpected addition to our family
- A friend’s father died suddenly
- My available sick time has been drastically limited
- My workload has been arduous
I’m just ready to move into more fun and more exciting things. I’m ready for things to stop dropping out of the sky without warning. I’m ready for good things to happen, for new friends to be discovered, old annoyances to drop out of my circle, and free time to become more usable.
I used to think it was just me, but most of the people I know are ready for April to be over as well. If for no other reason than to start vacation season. May starts back up the almost regular once a month day off for some reason. Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, not to mention birthdays. Oh, I love me some State Holidays!
On the bike front, I decided to start using the exercise bikes at the gym to see how much use I’d get out of a hundred dollar bike, should I invest in one. Its going pretty well, financially speaking. I’ve decided not to buy a bike. At least not as long as I have access to one at the gym. Yea, save me some money!
