You know how you get up to go to work and you get all dressed and pretty and then you look at the clock and realize; "Holy Crap! I'm gonna be late!" So you zip out the door and you get to work and then you get all engrossed in work, but then you get really hungry so you walk over to the little shop to get a tasty delicious biscuit only to find they don't have any ready, so you have to settle for a dry croissant? Gawd, I hate days like that.

So, yesterday. . . Mostly just waited for the day to be over. Not a whole lot going on at work (not that I'm complaining). More time to cruise the net and work in PhotoShop.
After work, I went to rehearsal to run lights. The primary light person was there, so I was able to leave early. Maybe we just have different styles (maybe I'm completely full of myself) but I think I'm a little better at running lights for this show. I know its not all that difficult, but she didn't pay any attention to the action on stage. Its not hard to follow an actor with the lights. When they move into a dark part of the stage, you turn on the lights. Voila! Zee stage, she ees lit!
At least I know I haven't lost what piddlin light board skills I gained when last I ran the light board. Cause I was quite worried about that one.

I've spent the majority of my morning avoiding typing this horribly written article. Luckily, Dave Barry's blog has been kind enough to contribute to the effort.

So now, I'm just waiting to leave work, just a paltry six hours to go. Woo! But at least I have a new project to work on tonight. I'm making two gift baskets full of soaps and candles and jewelry and I think that's it. I'm very excited.
